Participant Terms and Conditions
Aalstzorg Fitness
Article 1: Clients
Clients are those who have entered into an agreement with Aalstzorg to participate. This agreement is deemed to have been concluded upon signing the registration/authorization form.
Article 2: Duration of the Agreement
The agreement is considered to have been entered into for a minimum period of one (1) month. If the client does not cancel in time, the agreement will automatically be renewed for the same period.
Article 3: Termination of Participation
Termination of participation in a training group must take place no later than one month before the end of the agreement, effective from the first day of the following month. If termination occurs after this period, the client remains liable for the full course period.
Example: stopping as of April 1 means cancellation must take place in February.
Article 4: Fees
The client is required to pay the monthly fee in advance. Payments are made via direct debit. In the event of late payment, all costs incurred as a result of judicial and/or extrajudicial collection will be charged to the defaulting client.
Article 5: Illness and Holidays
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the session. Missed sessions may be rescheduled—by arrangement with the instructor—only within the same period, with or without supervision, and only if space is available within the groups.
In case of illness, early termination of the agreement is possible; however, the client’s place will then become available for another participant. In all cases, no refunds can be granted.
Article 6: Sundays and Public Holidays
Aalstzorg is closed on official Sundays and public holidays, as well as on Sinterklaas Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. Missed sessions due to these closures may be rescheduled in accordance with Article 5. In the event of the trainer’s absence, every effort will be made to provide a substitute.
Article 7: Liability
Aalstzorg accepts no liability for lost or stolen property or for any form of personal injury sustained by clients during classes, training sessions, group activities, or in connection therewith.
Article 8: Own Risk
The client hereby declares that he/she will participate in the sports instruction entirely at his/her own risk and that any costs resulting from accidents or injuries shall be borne entirely by the client.
The client acknowledges that engaging in physical exercise involves inherent risks and accepts full responsibility for any (consequential) damage that may arise from participation in any movement or training program.
The client shall also indemnify Aalstzorg against any third-party claims in this regard.
Article 9: Misconduct
Clients who engage in misconduct or damage the good name or reputation of the practice may be denied access to the premises temporarily or permanently. In the latter case, the agreement shall be deemed terminated with immediate effect, without the client being entitled to a refund or cancellation of any outstanding payments.
Article 10: Clothing and Hygiene
Clients are requested to wear comfortable (sports) clothing and clean sports shoes during training. For hygiene purposes, clients must always bring a towel and a water bottle.
Training without a towel is not permitted.
